I never thought I would have a career in granite. Having grown up in Elberton, Georgia, I wanted something different from what I had experienced as a kid, but circumstances drew me into the world of granite etching out of necessity. Boy, am I glad they did! The minute I first touched a stylus to the glassy polish of a black headstone, my life was changed forever. I couldn't believe that people actually got to do this for a living. Once I learned the craft, I struck out on my own with the idea that nobody would do customer service better than I could, and I haven't looked back since.

I was raised to believe that when you do something, you do it with excellence and thankfulness, or you don't do it at all. That's the philosophy I bring to every work of art I create. ​Your clients deserve the very best in their time of need. They deserve an understanding and patient ear. And they deserve the best quality and service they can get.
